Il tedesco Hendrik Weber aka Pantha Du Prince ha annunciato il ritorno su Rough Trade con un nuovo LP a distanza di 6 anni dal suo ultimo album ‘Black Noise‘. Il titolo del nuovo lavoro sarà ‘The Triad‘ e la pubblicazione sarà prevista per il 20 di maggio.
Come si usa ormai in questo ultimo periodo, l’album sarà preceduto da un 12″ che a sorpresa viene pubblicato proprio oggi. All’interno troviamo il primo estratto dell’album che da anche il nome del disco stesso ‘The Winter Hymn‘ il cui Hendrik ha pensato bene di pubblicare anche un video sul proprio canale youtube. Nella Side B troviamo anche altri 2 inediti: ‘Post Human Palisades‘ feat. Bendik & Kassian e un secondo estratto dal prossimo album ‘Dream Yourself Awake‘.
Hendrik dichiara a riguardo:
“Black Noise was very much about me being alone in a small room in Berlin and composing. The Triad opens the structure to more human ways of interacting, not digitized ways of interacting. It’s not about Facebook; it’s about meeting up and jamming. I wanted to cut through the digital dust that surrounds us.”
