Ne avevamo già il sentore, ma questa volta la conferma sembrerebbe arrivare da fonti più che autorevoli: Bjork starebbe lavorando a nuovo, nuovissimo materiale che, tanto per cambiare, dovrebbe a detta di chi le sta vicino scoinvolgere ancora una volta i piani del sistema.
Le voci si rincorrono dallo scorso mese di Agosto, quando senza dare apparentemente motivazioni, l’artista / performer / songwriter / producer islandese aveva infatti annullato tutte le date del suo “Vulnicura Tour”, che avrebbe dovuto toccare anche Parigi in occasione del Pitchfork Festival. Ora però è nientemeno che Tri Angle Records, etichetta - casa di due dei suoi collaboratori più stretti, ovvero Arca e The Haxan Cloak, a darne la conferma con un post su Instagram: Bjork per essere tale non ha bisogno di nessuno e…:
“Her new material is going to blow you all away. Cheers.”
A questo punto la domanda è: quando arriverà l’annuncio ufficiale da parte di Bjork e del suo entourage? Speriamo a breve, a questo punto! #enjoythebar
Just wanted to get something off my chest, because it’s been irritating me - I’m constantly being asked if Bjork is in charge of her records. Simple answer; yes. She is the boss. 100 percent. She writes, produces, composes, sings. She might bring people in to facilitate her vision, but first and foremost it is HER vision. Guys (and it’s always guys) need to understand this. She needs no one. How much incredible music does one woman have to release until people cut this crap? And yes, her new material is going to blow you all away. Cheers.
