Ad un anno esatto dal debut LP “55 5’S” il beatmaker e producer già membro dei Ratking, devastante progetto / crew newyorkese che nel 2012 sorprese il mondo con l’uscita del debut EP “Wiki93” direttamente sulla storica etichetta inglese XL Recordings, ritorna sulla storia etichetta belga (oggi d’istanza a Londra) R&S Records con un nuovo EP.

“Slam Dunk Vol. I” è il primo di una serie di 3 EPs dedicati alle tre passioni del producer newyorkese, ovvero i beat fumanti, il basket ed i manga: il contenuto di questo primo passo, tralasciando l’artwork ispirato direttamente a “Slam Dunk”, famosissimo manga e anime giapponese firmato Takehiko Inoue dedicato al mondo del basket, è di quelli da lasciarti inchiodato alla sedia, tra trap beats, loops e quel modo originale di trattare i vocal samples segno distintivo dei lavori solisti di Sporting Life:
