Così, a sorpresa, riecco Clark: a distanza di diversi mesi dall’uscita dell’ultimo albumm “The Last Panthers” e dopo aver contribuito con una traccia alla recente mega-compilation “#Savefabric”, composta da ben 114 tracce e pubblicata su bandcamp da Houndstooth (con l’obiettivo di mantenere alta l’attenzione sulla chiusura dello storico club londinese), il producer di casa Warp ritorna a farsi sentire con “Winter Boots II”, coppia di tracce disponibili in free download provenienti dall’archivio di unreleased gelosamente custodite da Chris in chissà quale misterioso archivio digitale.

Così descrive “Empty The Bone Thugs Of You”:

I wrote this all in one morning in Sweden last Jan. It’s possibly the least Swedish piece of music I’ve ever written. The amen bit on the end is like a buy one get one free track, it’s just me testing out my Octatrack on jungle breaks……hang on aren’t these tracks free downloads anyway?

 

Mentre, per quanto riguarda “Trina Raven”:

I wrote this in Australia last year. I find the riff quite pleasant and energising. The synth is (angrily) mixed through an old yamaha desk and about 65 guitar pedals. Grime stations!
