La società giapponese ZOOM ha presentato il suo innovativo strumento all-in-one ARQ che sicuramente non resterà inosservato.
Dietro sembianze a metà tra un UFO e un volante da videogames si nasconde un controller formato da due componenti separabili che formano l’ARQ Aero RhythmTrack.
Il primo componente è un’unità di archiviazione, un hard disk con 468 drums e 70 synth incorporati e una serie di effetti espandibili tramite usb.
Il secondo componente è un controller a forma di anello che si può estrarre dalla base, costruito da aree sensibili “al tocco” pensate per la creazione di melodie e percussioni, diventa ancora più spaziale quando si aziona l’accelerometro triassiale che permette di implementare gli effetti semplicemente inclinando l’anello. Può essere anche utilizzato via Wireless con tutti i vostri strumenti midi e dispositivi collegati al vostro computer.
Le due componenti poi sono coordinate tra loro tramite Bluetooth LE.
Zoom ha dichiarato che sarà disponibile a partire da Aprile al prezzo di 599$
