L’artista di Ann Arbor torna quindi a farsi sentire a distanza di qualche mese dalla pubblicazione di tre tracce inedite su Soundcloud, prodotte per ammissione dello stesso Zach nel periodo di “pausa” intercorso tra l’uscita dello splendido album “No Better Time Than Now” (uscito nel 2013) e l’ultimo EP pubblicato su Ghostly International, “Intermission”: prodotta pochi giorni fa, “What Are We Made Of?” è un inno d’amore che Shigeto vuole regalare ai suoi connazionali, in un momento socialmente e politicamente così difficile per gli USA. This song was finished on november 8th, 2016 with the intention of using it for my next record. i sampled an inspiration to me, detroit artist,Tyree Guyton, speaking at an event a couple months ago and used it in the intro because it spoke to me. On the morning of november 10th a light went off in my head and realized the song had to be let go.
